After Florence and Milan, I thought I'd make it a hat trick, and jumped on the Eurostar to Paris.
Popped in to see friends at the London menswear showroom..
Hi Noki and Luke Day!
Hi Carri Cassetteplaya!
Hi James from Christopher Shannon! (annoyed with myself for not ordering the paisley SS11 trackie bottoms)
Lurve magazine had a party to celebrate issue 4...
Here's the lovely editor, Lyna (wearing Simone Rocha) and Ronald Dick..
Dinner at cult Chinese restaurant Daves was a laugh. I love how the walls are lined with signed photos of celebs...nothing swanky or minimalist about this gaff!
Dave gave Max the guided tour..
Pigalle's after party at Le Pompon was kinda fun...how hot is Mr MC dude's jacket?
Now, Acne is a brand I properly like and wear. The creative team are really on it. They played happy Abba tunes and fed us hotdogs on arrival to the show...those are the kind of details I get off on. Here's the XX sitting pretty front row...
..backstage was super friendly. Hi Christoffer Lundman doing final checks...! x
Russel Marsh talked me into watching the show from front of house...Im glad I did, it was ace, especially the big coats, camel layered looks and bright turquoise trousers. Well done Christoffer and team...and da lovely boss, Jonny Johansson x
At their afterparty I met Lanvin's beautiful and hugely talented Daphne Karras...
...but managed to forget my magazine...
A couple of other fave things from Paris: the refinement at Dries...
...this Bernhard Willhelm trackie.....
..the Fair Isle section at Junya...
...supersexy belts at Givenchy...
..Walter van Bierendonck..genius...
I can really see Charlie Porter in this cape...
And isnt it a nice change to see a casual adult beverage in model's hands replacing the ubiquitous manbag? Suave at Gaultier...
..slightly more dishevelled at Adam Kimmel...
This fella's got his AW11 look nailed if you ask me. L-O-V-E...
