ROLLERCOASTER OF A WEEKEND...

I'll treasure moments of pure crazy happiness like this...on a speedboat with lovely friends on the way to Bistrotheque's pop-up restuarant '88'...

(Look at Gwendoline working it in her Mugler jacket)
Hazel let us dress her up in napkins over dinner while muttering "Im FURIOUS" under her breath...she is hilarious..

From the dizzying excesses of Canary Wharf...and the horrifying news from Norway...
..to the quiet quaint Cornish countryside...
Port Eliot festival was heavenly....I'm already looking forward to it next year!

Caitlin Moran talking about her book 'How To Be A Woman' was hilarious as ever...loved her...
Sarah Mower and Louise Wilson's talk/rant was genius. More please!
Lou Gray and Anita Pallenberg were delighting everyone with their Nasir/Meadham Kirchhoff head creations...
Does a more stunning cinema exist than this Martin Scorcese curated one?
I woke up from a blissful nap in the sun to the awful news that Amy Winehouse had passed away. Watching these cute kids playing kind of cheered me up..
..so did the gang of crazy girls I was with. Here we are playing 'hitch a champagne fueled ride round the site'...
Nonstop comedy provided by Trolly Polly and Nicole, I havent laughed this much in years!

Danced down the front till the end of the night with Tim Blanks...needed a good shakedown..
Got up the next morning and took a train to Luscombe Farm...
..every inch of the place has happy childhood memories...
and Susie cooked a spectacular lunch like she always does..
..the train journey home to London went slow..time to reflect on the events of the last few days..

..my happy bubble of a weekend contrasted with the sad news from the real world...and how lucky I am...
